Ejay's loose leash clinic was exactly what our rescue dog, Des, needed to make his walks safer and build his confidence. Des was a highly anxious dog who would bark at trucks and children and turkeys for no good reason while also backing away. When his fear response kicked in he was inconsolable, unmanageable and he put both himself and us in danger. We have never been able to walk on a busy street with people, other animals and heavy traffic. At least not until Ejay got a hold of us! Within an hour Ejay had taught my husband and I the RIGHT way to communicate with our dog through a leash, convinced us that it was our responsibility to "speak dog" and had Des calmly walking on leash on Madison Ave during the Tulip Festival's highest foot traffic. Not even a drum line was able to break Des's concentration from the task at hand: walking with his attention on us. It's been two weeks and all of the training is working perfectly, on Des AND on us. We now know exactly how to handle any unwanted outbursts in a productive and safe way and Des is getting better at walking and staying focused every day. Not in our wildest dreams did we think a three hour clinic could have such an impact but Ejay's knowledge about dogs and how they interact with people is extensive and priceless. We've already recommended this clinic to several friends with our highest endorsement! In the words of Ron Swanson, "Son, you should know that my endorsement is essentially a guarantee."
